During my time interning for Glasgow Ceramics Studio I had the opportunity to develop my skills in ceramics and was further able to engage with various forms of making using clay - allowing me to expand upon my skills in Raku, mould making and glaze development. These are experiences which have influenced my creative practice greatly. I had always wanted to learn to throw pottery and so I dedicated my studio time to developing my skills in throwing functional forms - with the help of other studio members. I become hooked on throwing and continue to develop my ceramics practice centred around throwing and experimenting with clay and glaze material.
